AGL is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to work in Fort Bragg, NC. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Project Manager in the execution and oversight of a U.S. Army contract, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, timelines, and quality standards. This role involves day-to-day coordination of personnel, subcontractors, logistics, and documentation while ensuring adherence to all federal, DoD, and company policies. Responsibilities
Contract Support & Execution
Assist in managing the day-to-day execution of contract requirements in support of U.S. Army operations.
Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and material needs to meet project milestones.
Ensure that work is performed in accordance with contractual obligations, SOWs (Statements of Work), and Army regulations.
Project Coordination
Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones using project management tools.
Prepare and submit reports, daily logs, and updates to the Project Manager and Army COR (Contracting Officer’s Representative).
Maintain documentation for compliance audits and inspections.
Personnel & Subcontractor Management
Support the hiring, onboarding, and supervision of site personnel and subcontractors.
Ensure all staff meet required qualifications, certifications, and security clearance levels.
Monitor labor hours, timesheets, and resource allocations.
Compliance & Safety
Enforce all federal, DoD, OSHA, and site-specific safety regulations.
Assist in Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) processes.
Support Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs.
Communication & Liaison
Serve as a point of contact between field staff, the Project Manager, and Army personnel.
Attend site meetings, briefings, and inspections as needed.
Support coordination with logistics, procurement, finance, and other departments.
