About Us:
My Tomato Pie is a beloved casual Italian restaurant known for our warm hospitality, delicious Italian cuisine, and excellent service. In addition to our busy dining room, we offer banquets and catering services, creating memorable experiences for our guests. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team and help lead our restaurant to continued success.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support our team. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations, including dining room, banquets, and catering.
Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service and uphold restaurant standards.
Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and control costs.
Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional manner.
Support scheduling, staff development, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of restaurant experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Must be available to work Sundays , nights, and weekends.
Experience with banquets or catering is a plus.
