About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief, Professional Development Division to lead the formulation and implementation of the command's learning strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting program goals, plans, and policies to ensure the development, monitoring, and sustainability of professional development initiatives. This key position involves overseeing a division, conducting in-depth research and analysis, and providing staff guidance on professional development matters of significant national or international impact. The role also requires the establishment and maintenance of effective working relationships with senior-level stakeholders, both within the Department of Defense and with external partners. Applicants for the Chief, Professional Development Division position at the company must have a minimum of 1 year of specialized experience at the GS-14 level or equivalent, with a strong background in nuclear enterprise policies and professional development. The role demands a deep understanding of the ICBM, B-2, or B-52 mission, and the ability to provide command-level staff guidance. The ideal candidate will possess the skills to plan, organize, and direct division activities, as well as the ability to lead study teams and execute projects within established constraints. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to mentor and manage staff are essential. The position is supervisory and requires the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including those at the senior level.
