Claims Adjuster- TPA looking for Desk/Field Adjuster - South Central Kentucky or North Central Tennessee or willing to relocate to that area. Work from Home.

Collins and Company, Inc. We are a regional TPA handling municipal claims/commercial losses. Operating since 1969. Full time position with benefits. Adjuster would work on municipal claims processing for Property & Casualty (P&C). Experienced required and experienced retirees or potential retirees can also find this a unique opportunity to work and be at home nightly as well working from their home.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred


• Minimum of 5 years claim experience as a property and casualty claims adjuster.


• Ability to maintain and set your own schedule, be responsible for maintaining a reasonable file level and still complete file work on a timely basis.


• Manage a reasonable claims load while evaluating liability and property claims.


• Prior litigation experience a plus but not required.


• The ability to professionally interact with clients, insureds, and claimants.


• Friendly pleasant attitude with the ability to deal with people as required.


• The ability for local day travel 1 to 2 days a week for claims inspections. Rare overnight travel may be needed.


• A current adjusters license. (can be from any state reciprocal with Kentucky) or the ability to obtain one within 60 days.


• Experience with estimating software a plus


• Valid Driver’s License
