Responsibilities: • Design a strategy to meet hotel financial goals, create marketing deliverables, and develop an annual sales forecast by analyzing market data • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network • Implement a strategic plan that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives to assist the sales staff in meeting and exceeding room booking goals • Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses • Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals • Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast Qualifications: • Must be able to use basic computer software including Microsoft Office • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required • Must have relevant experience of 5+ years as a sales professional, preferably in the hospitality field • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • 3 + years of hospitality years experience, extended stay preferred but not mandatory.
