As the Senior Director of Enterprise Connectivity Services and Cloud Modernization, you will lead the strategic transformation of McKesson’s CIMS Phase II Modernization and Enterprise Connectivity Services. This role requires experience in leading EDI/Connectivity platform services, particularly in industries such as retail or healthcare with strong experience in managing cloud platforms and technologies. Additionally, this role requires a strong background in cloud architecture, microservices, and enterprise integration technologies to drive modernization, scalability, and operational excellence. You will be responsible for the transition from legacy architectures to a cloud-native, API-driven, and event-driven ecosystem, ensuring a seamless customer experience while improving performance and security. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring a high-performing team, leading CIMS modernization efforts focusing on process and technology improvements, implementing best practices in software engineering, security, and DevSecOps, championing Shift-Left security practices, ensuring seamless partner onboarding with AI-driven automation, leading cloud modernization using Azure, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, implementing API-first and event-driven architecture with Kafka, driving CI/CD pipeline adoption, overseeing integration with Power BI, ELK stack, and Dynatrace, collaborating cross-functionally with IT, Cybersecurity, Architecture, PMO, and Business Leaders, improving customer satisfaction with modern UI/UX, enhancing self-service capabilities, and providing thought leadership on technical product development and cloud architecture. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, 13+ years of professional experience with 10+ years in leadership roles, expertise in EDI/Connectivity platforms, cloud transformation technologies, enterprise connectivity standards, software architecture frameworks, observability tools, DevSecOps, and experience working with external partners and internal stakeholders. Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills are essential.
