Industrial Engineer Pay Rate: $33.65

Key Personnel is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineers to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation of processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity in our manufacturing facility. This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial engineering principles within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Conduct time studies and analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design layouts for production areas and optimize workflow.
• Support the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and maintain quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics, collect data, and help prepare performance reports for management review.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of new equipment, tools, or technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
• Contribute to safety improvements and ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Provide support in training staff on new processes, tools, or systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Familiarity with CAD software or simulation tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and priorities.
• A keen interest in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
