Influencer Marketing Account Manager
Marketing Services | Method Communications | Hybrid - San Francisco
The Opportunity
The Influencer Marketing Account Manager (IMAM) role at Method Communications is responsible for executing communications strategies across a broad range of client accounts. This role is an active team member responsible for supporting influencer marketing programs to further our clients' communication objectives. Following influencer marketing trends, thinking strategically about bringing compelling campaigns to life, and having a strong understanding of the best creators and channels to get your client's story out to the world will be critical for this role. The IMAE will act as a partner and play a strong supporting role to Senior Account Executives and upper management. The ability to think strategically about content, optimization, audience growth, and other key factors of an influencer program must be demonstrated for success.
Responsibilities
Account/Brand Management
Manage personal assignments and own daily account management with superior organizational ability
Ensure timely responses to clients and followers' queries and comments
Ability to direct monthly client priorities and help clients achieve influencer marketing goals
Be results oriented
Influencer Marketing Management
Demonstrate proficiency in crafting compelling influencer briefs, developing content strategies, and utilizing influencer marketing platforms and industry best practices to execute successful creator partnerships
Growth: Stay ahead of emerging creator trends, new platform features, and evolving influencer marketing opportunities
Account Management: Oversee multiple influencer marketing campaigns simultaneously, managing creator relationships, content approval processes, and campaign performance tracking, effectively prioritizing deliverables across clients while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines
Client Relations: Serve as an influencer marketing authority, educating clients on creator economy best practices, partnership strategies, and campaign optimization techniques, presenting campaign results, strategic recommendations, and industry trends to clients with confidence and expertise
Business Development
Be eager to learn and willing to jump in on new projects that will provide learning opportunities (i.e., managing organic social programs, performing B2B social audits, learning paid media, etc.)
Collaborate with agency partners in new business development planning and RFPs and actively participate in new business pitches as needed
Leverage research tools to develop insights from for new business pitches, finding, interpreting, and simplifying results for clients
Agency Leadership
Advocate for and educate non-experts on influencer marketing, focusing on internal relationship building and agency training (formal and informal) and providing roadmaps for upselling influencer marketing to PR teams as appropriate
Have a strong, positive presence within the agency
Work collaboratively with the digital marketing and content teams to garner the best possible outcomes for our clients
What We’re Looking For
2-4 years experience in influencer marketing at an agency
Background and/or demonstrated interest in emerging technologies, and ability to work across multiple, diverse industries
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of major social platforms and their creator ecosystems, including best practices, platform policies, and user behavior trends
Possess detailed understanding of influencer marketing analytics across channels, including engagement rates, reach metrics, conversion tracking, and ROI measurement
Maintain active understanding of social media channels, staying current with platform updates, creator tools, and emerging trends that impact influencer marketing strategies
Ability to communicate professionally on a daily basis with client leads, internal team members, and management team
Function as a collaborative, team-oriented individual with a big-picture mindset, support colleagues in achieving shared goals while maintaining focus on overall campaign success and client satisfaction
Possess the ability to think critically, plan, and execute resourcefully across multiple tasks

Salary Range
We believe all employees should be rewarded competitively and equitably, using practices that are simple and transparent. Final compensation for this role will be determined by a number of factors including candidate’s education, relevant work experience and geographic location.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
Work Arrangement
The role is required to work from Method’s hub office in San Francisco at least two days per week.
