Job Description

Mountaintop Counseling is expanding and seeking a passionate, licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic and collaborative practice. We’re looking for someone who is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to individuals navigating mental health challenges.

Why Join Us?

  • Flexible scheduling options – A full caseload is considered 20 or more weekly clients; candidates willing to offer evening and weekend availability will be more heavily considered
  • Hybrid model – Work from home and in-person
  • Supportive, collaborative team environment
  • Strong referral base and administrative support
  • Opportunities for growth and creativity

We’re a team that truly vibes beautifully —we empower one another, share resources, and prioritize both client care and clinician well-being. If you're dedicated to making a difference and want to grow alongside a thriving group practice, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Conduct thorough assessments using medical records, interviews, observations, and collaboration with team members to determine client mental health status
  • Create individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives
  • Provide follow-up care, crisis intervention when necessary, and consistent communication with referral sources
  • Complete timely documentation—notes must be submitted within 24 hours
  • Respond promptly to referrals and maintain professional, dependable attendance (frequent cancellations send the wrong message to those in need)
  • Maintain clinical boundaries and adhere to ethical standards
  • Actively participate in our team culture of empowerment, support, and collaboration
Qualifications:
  • Active PA licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist, LSW, LAPC)
  • Strong clinical skills and ethical standards
  • Reliable, compassionate, and self-motivated
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of working with mental health patients is required
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
