About the Role:
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and effective counseling to adults and minors. Key Responsibilities:
Provide Individual and Group Therapy: Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize Evidence-Based Practices: Implement proven therapeutic techniques, including CBT, to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans with clear milestones to track client progress and ensure effective outcomes.
Maintain Accurate Documentation: Adhere to HIPAA regulations by maintaining comprehensive and accurate client records.
Facilitate Referrals: Connect clients with appropriate healthcare professionals and programs to ensure comprehensive care.
Collaborate with Professionals: Work alongside case managers and other healthcare providers to deliver coordinated and holistic client care.
Stay Informed: Continuously expand your knowledge by staying up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in behavioral health.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling.
Active Maryland license: LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC (required).
Proven experience in social work, counseling, or a related field.
Exceptional ability to build rapport with clients and create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
A compassionate, culturally competent, and client-centered approach to therapy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
