Mckesson's MTAP - Lead Salesforce Solution Architect acts as a trusted advisor and leader who partners with business stakeholders and executives to design a vision and architecture for a solution to a business problem. Often in the position of the technical team leader, helps educate the team with technical best practices. Translates business needs to a technical vision that teams of low code or pro code builders can execute on. Builds proofs-of-concept (POCs) that teams can further iterate on. Responsible for the technical oversight of the Salesforce platform including managing upgrades, maintaining security and integrity of data, and ensuring system performance by constantly reviewing and refining the system's technical settings. The Platform/Technical Architect is responsible for the Architecture Review Function of the Enterprise service. Acts as the trusted technology leader and builds buy-in for new solutions. Evaluates functional and technical requirements on high impact and large complex projects spanning multiple software technologies. Defines architectural approach and development methods, process engineering, code review, and product demonstrations. Designs Salesforce/cloud solutions leveraging Azure (and potentially AWS or GCP) to meet business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Leads integration of business processes across disparate systems. Ensures systems are architected consistent with technical best practices and business outcomes. Pushes back on predefined solutions that will not achieve long term success. Ensures DevOps environment is optimized and inclusive of security by design. Collaborates with other Architects to ensure enterprise standards. Mentors consultants and onboards new consultants to Salesforce Integration. Requires over 10 years of engineering experience with strong expertise in Salesforce.com, hands-on experience in Salesforce cloud environment, Salesforce certifications such as System or Application Architect, and understanding of technology standards like BPM, SOA, B2B, EAI, and frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, and CMMI. Technical skills include integration patterns, data migration, ETL tools, building applications, business requirements identification, system architecture design, troubleshooting Salesforce integration issues, architectural and code review, unified development standards creation, architecture control during system release iterations, business process re-engineering, data modeling, and strong communication and organizational skills. Agile and Atlassian suite experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS or related field or equivalent experience required. Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. without support from McKesson. Relocation not budgeted. Competitive compensation package with base pay range $150,500 - $250,800 plus potential bonuses and incentives.
