Paid Fall Internship!!! Flexible scheduling and open to students required to complete more than one semester for their clinical placement.

The Clinical Intern will report to an independently licensed clinician and is responsible for assisting with a wide range of projects, including but not limited to, providing clinical therapeutic services in a residential program for adults with a substance use disorder, many of whom also have a co-occurring mental illness.

Responsibilities: The Clinical Intern will assist with the following projects or tasks: Under direction, ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland. Provides behavioral health assessments, individual and group counseling, and develop treatment plans/treatment plan reviews. Completes necessary documentation for insurance authorization. Participates in agency and community meetings as needed. Participates in community events as needed. Completes all documentation required by the agency within designated time frames. Meets core social work, counselor, marriage & family competencies and adheres to regulations. Performs other duties necessary to accomplish objectives.

Requirements: Individual is required to have a Bachelor's degree and is pursuing a Master's degree in an accredited program for Social Work, Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy. Individual is required to have a trainee license, as applicable. Willing to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends. Office-based work is required.
