As a 3rd year pharmacy intern, your role is pivotal within our pharmacy team, enabling us to deliver outstanding patient care. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure a safe and effective work environment, contributing to the overall healthcare experience. Key Responsibilities: Drive patient safety through adherence to regulatory requirements and quality assurance Excel in customer service by providing authentic, empathetic care Manage inventory and workflow to enhance pharmacy operations Lead health management programs aimed at keeping patients healthy Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of enthusiasm and pride Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy No previous work experience required Possessing or in the process of obtaining necessary intern and/or technician licensure Strong communication and presentation skills Commitment to attending all required training and meeting state guidelines Physical Requirements: Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends Ability to stand for extended periods and handle tasks requiring finger dexterity Capable of lifting and moving items up to 20 lbs Preferred Qualifications: Eligibility for immunization certification Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite We encourage pharmacy interns to deliver patient immunizations once they meet state regulations, as this is a vital function of our pharmacist team.
