As an Insurance Fraud Investigator, youll lead in-depth investigations into fraudulent claims, applying your expertise in interviews and evidence analysis to uncover the facts. This is a field-based role ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and want their work to have real impact.ResponsibilitiesIndependently lead investigations into suspected fraudulent insurance claims.Conduct field surveillance and in-person interviews with claimants, witnesses, and involved parties.Analyze claim files for inconsistencies, red flags, and suspicious activity.Collect, document, and preserve evidence in accordance with legal standards.Provide clear, objective, and detailed investigative reports for client use.Maintain regular communication with internal teams and insurance clients to ensure seamless updates and service delivery.Travel regularly throughout New York and surrounding states.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of field investigation experience in insurance fraud.Proven track record handling auto liability, bodily injury, workers' comp, and property claims investigations.Background in law enforcement, military investigations, or SIU operations strongly preferred.Proficient in covert surveillance, investigative interviewing, and statement acquisition.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment.Clear, concise, and accurate reporting and documentation skills.Ability and willingness to travel frequently (50100% field time).Spanish-speaking preferred.Benefits401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceMileage reimbursementTravel reimbursementPTO and Paid HolidaysUnlimited Time OffSchedule8-hour shiftsMonday to FridayWeekends as neededLocationNew York City, NYMust relocate before starting
