About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based test automation frameworks, REST API testing, and Salesforce platform testing . The role requires hands-on experience in writing custom automation scripts (beyond codeless tools), building scalable frameworks, and applying clean coding practices to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom automation test scripts using Java, Groovy, and REST Assured .
• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks for UI and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality at every stage of development.
• Participate in design and code reviews to promote testability and maintain high coding standards.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration testing for Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud .
• Test user access controls and permission models within Salesforce (Access Management).
• Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard defect management tools .
• Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to CI/CD pipeline testing processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Java , with working knowledge of Groovy .
• Hands-on experience with REST Assured (or similar tools) for API automation.
• Solid understanding of clean coding principles and test automation design patterns.
• Experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
• Exposure to Access Management testing within Salesforce environments.
• Experience working in Agile teams and integrating with CI/CD pipelines .

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance or security testing .
• Familiarity with test reporting tools (e.g., Allure, Extent Reports).
