Accountant | Manufacturing Industry Focus | Davis Furniture Company

Location: Black River Falls, WI |

Salary: $50,800 - $74,500

Davis Furniture Company, a leader in quality furniture design and manufacturing headquartered in Black River Falls, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of our operations, offering great exposure to the full accounting cycle within a stable manufacturing environment.

What You Will Be Responsible For (Key Responsibilities):

• Full Cycle Accounting: Prepare and examine all accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
• A/R and A/P Management: Perform all Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including ordering and procuring materials/services for job sites, processing vendor payments, and managing customer billing and payments.
• Financial Strategy & Reporting: Develop, analyze, and report on business operations and budgets directly to the management team, contributing to strategic business decisions.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement new processes and controls to enhance overall financial efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Required Experience: Previous professional experience in accounting or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Fundamental working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Systems Proficiency: Experience with current computer accounting programs, reporting tools, and a high level of comfort with technology.
• Skills: Demonstrated detail orientation, ability to meet strict deadlines, and strong analytical/problem-solving capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $50,800.00 to $74,500.00, commensurate with experience.
